New Boogie Board?

New Boogie Board on the Sky

The weather was so beautiful today, summer like, beautiful blue sky, really perfect for boogie boarding if water is as warm as the air. Because the Pacific Ocean remains frigid, I have a new boogie board, this time, not for water, but for boogie closer to the sky! I would have to redo this pose though since I don't really look like boogie boarding eh? Too stiff and scared I look more like planking than boogie boarding :) Another reason to go back to Potato Chip Rock again.
Potato Chip Rock, Mt Woodson
One of the cool things we saw in our Mt Woodson hike today is that someone put up a Christmas tree close to the peak of Mt. Woodson, thank you, whoever you are who took the effort to make everybody jollier :)

How to reach Potato Chip Rock? Check my previous post on Hiking Mt. Woodson.

  1. I will take that boogie board, Betchai, and lying down there in the sun for a while. It would be a perfect spot for me right now.

The Christmas tree is just fantastic..

  8. I love seeing you up there on that rock ... I am the world's number one coward when it comes to doing that sort of thing.

Beautiful shots...great San Diego weather...it is sunny and dry and EXTREMELY dusty here in my Indian village of Sahar. Lots of love and good wishes to you at this new year.

  9. That must be a great view from there. I'd love to be in that place to look out over everything. I think I might be a little afraid to stand up on it though; I discovered that I'm a little afraid of heights.

  12. Happy New Year! Wishing a wonderful 2012 with more hiking and traveling! Don't have to worry about waves, just the wind on your new boogie board. As for the tree, seems like someone enjoyed their holidays up there too.
