Exploring Costal San Diego from Ocean Beach to La Jolla

Twitter

For a change, instead of hitting the slopes, we spent a very long day today from early morning to after sunset just wandering along the ocean's shore. Here are some pics from our very relaxing walk today, I say relaxing since there is very little change in elevation despite we had walked a lot of miles :) We started from South (Ocean Beach) to North (La Jolla ).

Me @ Ocean Beach Pier
Enjoying Some wildflowers at Mission Bay
Sea Gull @ Pacific Beach
Stopped for Lunch at Pacific Beach's "World Famous Steak and Sea Food"
 Our Afternoon Stop at Windansea
 Windansea Beach
 Surfing at Windansea

My attempt to climb rocks but failed
Our late afternoon stop at La Jolla
 La Jolla
Too Overcast, No Sunset :(
Watching the surfers makes me miss being in the water. However, I only go in the water when the water temperature hits 60s F! Another beautiful day spent simply in San Diego. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Tomorrow, we will be hiking again and having joyful moments at Mt Woodson and Potato Chip Rock.

  6. That looks like fun. I always loved walking along the shore of the Detroit River, but it doesn't have very many good enough sections to walk. Too many factories on the river.

  7. One can never get tired of La Jolla! Your lunch looks wonderful. I guess that is one good reason to hang out closer to the city. ;)
