My Top Ten San Diego Hikes: #6, El Capitan Open Space Reserve

Twitter
First, let me start the post with a review of My Top Ten San Diego Hikes:
#7 - Anza Borrego Desert State Park
Now, moving on to the number 6 in my list, which is El Capitan Open Space Reserve
@ El Cajon Summit, El Capitan Open Space Reserve
Why I Like this Hike:
1. Not too far from downtown San Diego ( 26 miles North East), yet it feels tucked away from civilization.

2. A very good training ground for major day hikes, being one of the longer day hikes in San Diego ( 10 miles round trip, 4000 ft change in elevation )
3. Nice views of surrounding mountains, almost a 360 degrees of mountains at the summit.
