Sagada via Banaue, Part 3: Spelunking @ Sumaguing Cave

Sedimentary Rock Formation Inside Sumaguing Cave, Sagada, Philippines
Our second day in Sagada started with a promise of beautiful day. Lovely skies hugged the mountain, giving us hope that rain won't get in our way. Rain was not welcome for us on that day because caving would be cancelled due to the flooding inside the cave that the rain will cause.

Sagada via Banaue, part 2: First Glimpse of Sagada and Hike to Pongas Falls

View of Sagada From our Room
We left Manila for Sagada last December 27 at about 9:30 pm. We had several stops along the way but our first major stop was Banaue Rice Terraces at about 8:00 am of December 28. About 11:00 am, we reached Sagada.

From Indian Wells to Australian Open...Dreams of a Tennis Fan

Daniela and Who?, Indian Wells, CA
One of the events in Southern California that I always would not want to miss going to is the tennis event in Indian Wells, CA. I am a big tennis fan, I may not watch a lot of TV, but somehow, when it is tennis out there, I can take some time sitting in front of TV. And whenever there is a tournament here in Southern California, as long as I have free time, I do come to watch.

Sagada via Banaue Part 1: The Banaue Rice Terraces

The Banaue Rice Terraces
Back several decades ago, when I was much younger, my uncle would always test me what are the 7 wonders of the world. After reciting correctly the 7 ancient wonders, my uncle would surprise me, "and what is the 8th wonder?" To his satisfaction, I would proudly say, "The Banaue Rice Terraces of the Philippines!"
