Lake Powell @ Page, Arizona

Twitter
Lake Powell, Page, Arizona
Page, Arizona is one of the popular adventure destinations in the Southwest. Aside from Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, Page is a popular boating destination because it is bordered by Lake Powell. Page is also the hub of the Grand Circle, being close to many spectacular National Parks of the Southwest.
Lake Powell @ Wahweap, Page, AZ
Lake Powell is a reservoir on the Colorado River, the second largest man made lake in the US. Though most of Lake Powell is in Utah, but the Wahweap Marina, which is 6 miles West of Page is a very strategic location for most tourists exploring the Grand Circle.

  3. We have tried to get to Page several times and every time, the Marriott there is unavailable! We just traveled over to Parker and Kingman. Maybe next spring we'll make it to Page. I would love to explore the area around it!

  8. Betchai, that is one spectacular looking place, serene and not very crowded. I have not visited there but I just love Zion National Park which I visited one with forensic nurse friends after our conference in Las Vegas. We spent two nights there, clearing our minds from all the casino clamor and just visiting with each other and communing with nature.

  18. Happy Holidays Beth! You certainly did well with your photographs as well as your trip.

I have been sick since the beginning of December so I have been off line for a long time.

May you and yours enjoy the remaining days off for the Holidays and wishing you the best of the New Year.

    I will see you around.

  23. Wow! Beautiful Arizona! Look what blogging had taken you :-O. I really miss looking at your beautiful photographs (because I had been such a lazy blogger).

Being a travel blogger is already in my wishlist. I don't see myself traveling at this time, but I hope to be able to be a traveler when I reach 40.

    Thanks for sharing!
