Even Paradise Needs a Vacation

Here I am again, lost for words to say, my thoughts already in vacation mode, thus, titling this post very similar to what I had written before, "Even Paradise Needs An Adventure Vacation." The only difference between the two titles is the word "adventure", which I purposely omitted in the title of this post. It's not a surprise to me, that I am using pictures taken from the same place, but just at different times for this two similarly titled posts. I may have said it before, and I am saying again, that though San Diego has many beautiful natural places for us to explore and wander, but my favorite place to simply while time away, relax, rejuvenate, recharge, get inspired, get healed, and so much more, is Torrey Pines.

Torrey Pines is my little piece of heaven and paradise in San Diego. However, though I find so much relaxing and healing power in this place, I still go wander in different places in San Diego from time to time. Call it probably man's need for diversity. And despite I have found my paradise in the place I live, I still take vacation away from my paradise, because yes, even paradise needs a vacation sometimes. The holidays season may be a very busy one for me, so I may not be able to update this blog as often as I could. I will try to leave one or two scheduled posts if I could, otherwise, my piece of paradise here in the web will also take a vacation. :) Haha! I apologize if I would not be able to return comments or inquiries ASAP, but will sure get back to you as soon as things go back to normal again.
Anyway, for this weekend, let me share with you some more pictures I took very recently in my piece of paradise here in San Diego, Torrey Pines. I know, I have written a lot about Torrey Pines, shared a lot of pictures from this place, but I just can't help, sharing about the relaxing joy I always find in this place.

Red Tail Hawk or Peregrine Falcon?
(sorry, i am not very good in identifying birds, especially if I do not see the tail, but I know Torrey Pines has some nesting falcons and hawks )

Before I end this post, let me greet everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
Signing off temporarily from the blogosphere, but sure will be back with more rejuvenated energy and passion to enjoy "THE JOYS OF SIMPLE LIFE!!"

  2. My favorite is the BIF :) Torrey Pines looks so beautiful and the water seems to be different each season...the power of the waves is what I'd love to experience there one day...
