Turning your Yard Mosquito Free

Are you fed up with annoying pests like mosquitoes and ticks ruining all of your outdoor fun? If you answered yes to this question, you are certainly not alone. There are many people who find themselves in the same boat you are in. They struggle with mosquitoes during gatherings in their back yards. They are afraid to go into the woods because of the possibility of getting Lyme Disease from a tick bite. This is no way to live your life. Fortunately, there is a very easy solution. All you need to do is set up an appointment with a top pest control company like Mosquito Squad. What makes a good pest control company? Here is what you need to look for.

1. Experience

You should find a company that has been handling pest control issues for many years. You do not want a bunch of amateurs parading around your home, spraying chemicals anywhere they please. The safety of your family and pets is too important to entrust to people who are not highly qualified. Most pest control companies will talk about how long they have been in business on their websites.

2. Equipment

Modern technology has developed many ways to eradicate mosquitoes and ticks from your yard. However, some companies are not using the most current equipment for their pest control jobs. Nowadays, there are mosquito misting systems that can help to keep your outdoor event free of nasty and uninvited insects. These misting systems are handy because they do not require the people from the pest control company to operate them. After they have been installed in your yard, they will release a mist of insecticide into the air several times automatically each day.

3. All-natural products

Unfortunately, many of the same chemicals that can kill mosquitoes can also harm humans if they are exposed long enough. This is why many pest control companies are starting to phase out the use of synthetic pesticides in favor of new, all-natural products. These are safer for the environment, your family and pets.

4. Customer satisfaction

Companies seem to be less concerned about whether or not their customers are satisfied when they have finished their job. You need to find a pest control company that values their customers. Ideally, the pest control company you hire should offer a guarantee of some sort. If you are not satisfied, they need to fix the problem for free.

  1. A good way to discourage mosquitoes is to have plants that are natural repellants. They look pretty too. Marigolds, citrus smelling plants, catnip and catmint, basil, vanilla leaf, bee balm, tea tree, cedar trees, and garlic are just a few.
