Create Your Own Man Cave in Minutes

Every man needs a place where he can relax and forget about the stresses of the day. Whether you live alone, have a wife or have kids, you can still create your own man cave in just a few short hours in your basement, attic, spare bedroom or garage.

Choose Furniture

Start with a few pieces of furniture. Now is the perfect time to move that old couch from your living room into your man cave or take your college futon out of storage. You generally want at least one longer piece of furniture where your friends can sit and where you can nap. Many men also need a few extra chairs and some type of table. A few mismatched end tables provide plenty of space for sitting drinks, and a small coffee table gives you a place to put your feet up.

Add Some Accessories

Once you have the furniture in place, it's time to add some accessories. A foosball table or a ping pong table is a great way to have some fun with the guys, and adding lamps or light fixtures ensures that you have all the light that you need. Adding some man cave signs can lend a fun touch to the room too. Customized wood signs, like those available from Cedar Rustics and similar websites, lets you put a personalized touch on your man cave. Using furniture, signs and other accessories lets you create the perfect man cave in just a few hours.
