Resort Vacations In The Mountains

Twitter

Taking a resort vacation in the mountains could be an idea started after seeing the Bluegreen resorts Facebook page, watching a commercial on TV with the mist and fog blanketing the hills or seeing a cabin on a mountainside and wanting to be there for a few days to recharge. However the idea came to mind, this is one of the best ways for couples, singles and families to get away from the city and find some peace and rest.

Taking a vacation that is not filled with tourist traps, amusement parks and loud noises is something that every family should do from time to time to get the rest that is truly needed to make it through the year. With everyone going to work and school on a daily basis, it is hard for the family to really catch a breath and feel comfortable. However, vacationing in the hills where there are very few people, very few sounds other than chirping birds and beautiful landscapes as far as the eye can see is a vacation option anyone can agree on.

When renting a cabin up in the hills, there are many choices for the small or large family. A couple can rent a cottage for a week that is nothing but one big room. The rustic feeling of an old log cabin brings together the bedroom, sitting room and kitchen into one place where the couple can relax, read and enjoy each other's company.

Larger families can rent cabins that have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate the kids, grandparents, aunts, uncles and other extended family members who may want to partake in the vacation of a lifetime. In fact, most of the larger cabins are designed to host extended families. These reunions and combined trips are often the perfect way to see family who live far away.

The amenities that come along with these cabins go far beyond beautiful views and the quiet of nature. These cabins have laundry and full kitchens. The cabins are just close enough to civilization that the family can head out on the town for the evening or grab a nice dinner. Recharging is great, but having options to recharge is even better.

Many of the resorts that are configured in this manner work well for small families and singles who prefer something akin to a hotel. With a swimming pool, on-site restaurants and activities to take up the majority of the day, a family can engross themselves in the resort culture and not leave for the entirety of their stay.

Each of these options presents families with a way in which they can recharge their batteries, get away from the loud noises of everyday life and enjoy time in a picturesque and beautiful setting that gives everyone a chance to relax. These vacations in the hills and mountains can change the outlook of a family for the rest of the year, bring couples closer together and give extended family a chance to see their loved ones.

  10. A mountain vacation will be a first for us whenever that will be. We haven't tried it yet.

A vacation to Amanpulo in 2001 was the most remote and 'quiet' vacation we've had so far. Hindi na naulit :-)

  13. Relaxing near the mountain is a fantastic idea. We never try staying in the resort but my in-laws has a camp when we go to the mountain. It saves money and am glad that my kids love the scenic view of the mountain. They love the peaceful surrounding :-)
