I call exercising as hiking or boogie boarding.
Hiking @ lake Poway
I see cooking as living one of my childhood dreams to be a chef.
I call laundy as..... Ahhhhh, now, if there is only a way for me to call laundry, haha, perhaps my least favorite activity. When it comes to laundry, I am just good in procrastinating, but hey, they get done in time and we never had to wear dirty clothes nor sleep in itchy blanket. :) In fact, I do wash our bed linens once a week. Proud achievement for someone who probably sees laundry as the only work ever! It's a must actually for someone like me who had allergies to always have clean linens. I look for hypo-allergenic linens in retails that sell quality hotel supplies knowing that they cater to different kinds of people who could also be prone to allergies like me. Actually, most Hotel Supply retailers such as Georgia Hotel Supplies Online sell also products that are applicable to individuals such as us. This includes really elegant various drinking glasses which you can find in the Hotel Bar Supplies section. They also sell essential kitchen gears that would be anyone's partner towards their goal of living healthy. I am glad to see that Healthy is what is "in" today. At school, I notice most of my students bring freshly made vegetable or fruit juices instead of soda or other sugar loaded flavored drinks. Instead of snacking on chips, they snack on carrots, grape tomatoes, snap peas, broccoli florets, or some other vegetables. And like me, banana is always an essential part of the day. So glad to see that these days, what is in is living simply and healthy.
~ P.S. this post is published using the Mobile Blogger, though am not sure if Mobile Blogger could be considered living simply, haha! And yes, to make blogging stress free, I call it, "blogging love" and "hobby love". :) ~
weeeeeeee! hobby love it is! your food photos never fails to make me drool.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to live life as light and stress free as possible. I absolutely love fruits and vegetables! Love the photos! : )
ReplyDeleteVeggies and fruits are my favorites as well. Is that a bean casserole?
ReplyDeleteI have the greatest respect for all those who cook and who cook really well. :) I don't like cooking and I am not gifted. I just dine out most of the times and yup, it's not healthy and very costly.
ReplyDeleteI force myself sometimes but I just can't cook when I know I'm insincere :( I really like the pasta dish you posted above.
Oh boy! we are the same when it comes to laundry teh Beth, I used to hate doing it when I was in the Philippines but had too. But here, I find it a stress reliever in a stranger way and it gets me motivated to do something else while waiting for a job to get done in the laundry room :)But yeah, If all of us can emulate how you look at every little things about life, then life would surely be stress free:)
ReplyDeleteLaudry is the perfect exercise for me. Cooking, ay magaling lang ako kumain and fancy meat a lot. But the best 'hobby love' I have. SLEEPING..
ReplyDeleteyes. I do think technology simplifies our lives. I like that I can accomplish things where ever and however, I am not restricted in one way of doing things. And as far as laundry, I can do it and do it very well, but it is my least favorite, therefore SO does it. :-)
ReplyDeletenow that's what I called a good life...:) I wish we have good hiking spots in our area.
ReplyDeleteloved the first one...
ReplyDeletethat speaks volumes all by itself.. serene and calm
Hmm...laundry is a simple chore for me...perhaps it is expected in our daily lives? So I can't be bothered about it. :p
ReplyDelete"Living Life As Light and Stress Free As Possible."
ReplyDeleteWhat further more can we ask for?
Beautiful pictures :-) love the spectacular view of the mountain and the delish veggies :-) makes me hungry :-) Life can be stressful but as long as we know how to deal with stress...life is awesome :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't know if my comment went through since my internet got cut off..
ReplyDeleteI love your motto of living life light and stress free..It's the best thing if we can do that!
Believe it or not, doing laundry accounts for one of my "me time" where I can contemplate on my life without much distraction. Funny how it became this way when I used to abhor it.
ReplyDeleteblogging love it is! :D smiling here imagining you doing the laundry :) that is my favorite chore haha, I can wash clothes all week and not get tired :) what I do not love much is cleaning the house hahahaha....I clean our room each weekend around an hour before hubby gets home hehe, love love love your healthy food treats here! Roel is beside me now hugging his pink blanket which I think is hypoallergenic :) mwahugs from across the miles....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures as always and what a positive outlook to life!! I agree with you, fruits and vegetables are the best foods :)
ReplyDeleteAnd blogging love, cant agree with you more on that!
Have a lovely sunday Betchai :)
Hahahaha! I can't help but let out a chuckle when I read the part that laundry is your least fave activity. It's like hearing my own self saying that. LOL! I can do almost everything around the house but like you, I also dilly-dally when it comes to doing my laundry. My Mom usually does it for me if not the laundry woman or bringing the dirty linens to the laundry shop.
ReplyDeleteI was drooling over the foodies at this post. It's great that everything you do and see around you has got it's value to somehow relieve you of all the negative vibes that lumping up your busy body. It only speaks volume on how remarkable a woman you are :-)
Have a good week ahead of you, Te Betchai :-)
I can relate when it comes to laundry! :D
ReplyDeleteBut, nowadays... I feel like doing my laundries. I've missed doing it. It's been three years since my parents didn't let me do anything.
I'm not crazy about laundry either. Fortunately, I now have a teenager who does all the laundry.
