Russel A Solomon In The Himalayas

Wild Sunflowers at Jackson Lake, Grand Teton National Park
This was the scenery that greeted us as near the North entrance of Grand Teton National Park. Though we only had less than a day of exploring at Grand Teton, we sure had a great time. I will share more of our experience there in my later posts.

Hiking at the rugged mountain slopes of Grand Teton made me wonder if how I would do hiking in the Himalayas.

The Himalayan mountain range is home to the highest peaks, and I have not experienced yet hiking in very thin air above 20,000 ft elevation. I have read from an online article, Russel A. Solomon in the Himalayas, about the complexities of a visit to the Himalayas. The site offers a unique insight of visiting the Himalayas, what guided tours are available, maps of the area and insights from fellow travelers who have experienced Himalayas. Russel Solomon represents any adventure traveler who wanted to indulge in hiking, extreme climbing, spelunking and learning about nature and geology.
