 What's my dream lawn?

My Dream Lawn
Nature's lawn....

CA Sea Lavender and Field of Yellow Coreopsis at Mission Bay, San Diego
Where I can run freely into a sea of wildflowers,

and dance with them merrily as they sway gracefully with the wind.

Where I can whisper sweet nothings to them, some lessons I have learned from my late mom when I was younger. My late mom was really very good in growing flowering plants and orchids. She taught me how to talk to plants. According to her, plants listen, and bloom more beautifully as they receive tender loving care from us. In the process, the plants give us positive energy, blowing away our stresses, and brings us happiness many times over. I believe her. And I know, may of you believe in the stress-relieving power of plants around you too.
When nature changes from brown to field of colors, it feels like heaven sent Earth so many smiles. In my hikes, I always wish to bring them home. And yes, I do bring them home. I bring home the happiness. I bring home the joy and the inspiration to make our home smile.

Gardening is such a joy. However, with our busy lives these days, despite how much we love our garden, we just do not have all the time in the world to take care of it. We look for ways where we can maintain our lawn and garden beautifully without us spending so much time working in it.
Orange Ice Plant at Home
Before, we mow our lawn, put fertilizer, and weed depressants in 3 separate jobs. But these days, with the Scotts® Snap® Spreader System many could have beautiful lawns without the mess and guess work, reducing the work time several fold because we do not need to mow our lawn, put fertilizer and weed depressants separately. I am excited to learn about the no mess, no guess spreader system. The Snap Pac connects directly to the Snap Spreader- there is no cutting, no opening, no pouring from heavy bags- and no spilling of waste. The system sets the proper flow rate to the lawn. Another special feature is that when you're done, the Snap Pac self-seals upon removal making it easy to store. Imagine no half empty bags slightly open on your garage?

I may not have nature's lawn with me, but I found so many ways to bring the joy of nature home.

  2. So many flowers! We hiked last week and could hardly find massive flower blooms like that. I hope with this week's rain, we can be as lucky as you.
