I have been fascinated by lights for as long as I can remember. There is something about that magical moment when colors reach my eyes that tend to stir a thousand and one sensations on my brain that allow my thoughts to dance and sing to a melody from within. I remember dancing in half circles as a child seeing colors I got from staring at the sun's rays for several seconds. The colors were so vivid I could almost touch them. I'd reach out my hand, try to grasp those shapeless pigments with my little fingers and watch them disappear in thin air...and then I'd run after another one and another and another until I grew tired. I no longer see those colors now and
somehow knowing it isn't healthy to gaze at the sun for long periods of time leaves feelings of remorse that I ever wished to grow up at once. Childhood seemed a period of shadowed, curtailed happiness to me. Like others my age then I wanted to see the world! I wanted to touch what the elders forbid me to get near to; I longed to be free! ...and grew up I did...
Now there remains so many things I'd love to do and my love for lights have not faded through the years.
My favorite toy now is my camera. I love going out to take shots at the sunlight and stay out late and enjoy the freedom of taking shots at colors of the night.

That heart of a child fascinated by anything that sparks and has color has remained in me. Bonding with my mom who is due to travel to the US and chatting with friends and relatives there has ignited a desire in me to travel to where the night lights are brightest. Where else but Las Vegas.
Aside from allowing my eyes to feast on colorful spectacles I'd love to go sky diving, watch the sunset at the grand canyon, and of course meet my wonderwoman friend who would I'm sure gladly tour me at the Grand Circle of National parks around Las Vegas.
I feel it in my heart that such a day is drawing near. A good thing I found Las Vegas Deals where one could find innumerable discount promos for hotels, show or entertainment.
I'm assured of a visit that is fun-filled, breath taking and simply unforgettable like seeing colors in the air!

~thanks to fellow TSS Sister, Zen, for sharing her dreams of lights and colors ~

I chase sunrise and sunset because lights fascinate me too. I admire photographers using and playing with natural lights in their shoots.
