Straight Savings with Straight Talk

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Straight Talk for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

San Diego is a place of many hills and small mountains scattered all over the county. It can be pretty scenic especially if right next to the ocean or the hills and small mountains are what you see the moment you step out from your backyard. Hiking trails are everywhere. When I was new in San Diego, one of my students told me before, "in San Diego, if there is a hill, there is a trail", when I asked if there is a trail in a hill that is bursting with wildflowers.
After discovering the so many hiking and biking trails that litters in San Diego's backyard, everyday seemed like a vacation for me, since I need not take vacation anymore to be able to do what I love doing the most, that is hiking and rejoicing at the top of the world (or the top of the hill or top of the mountain).
However, there are also cons to be living in a place with so many hills. Sadly, because we have lots of canyons and also so many hills, a lot of places in San Diego may get very poor  TV and cell phone signals :( We are trying to cut our budget in many ways, but sadly, there are some areas we feel very hard to save, one of those is cutting the cable to save on expenses. We tried buying highly rated antenna hoping that we can get signal, but sadly, we could not get signal. As such, right now, we feel like we have to continue paying for cable services since somehow, one of us cannot live without TV :)
Thankfully, if we find it hard to cut on cable expenses, we found something where we can save a lot. Though choosing a mobile company is also hard for us because again, we live in a place surrounded with so many hills, which do interfere with reception signals. Whenever we consider a mobile provider, we first try how the signal works at home since cell phone is our primary phone. We cut our landline before because we are hardly home and we do not see the purpose of paying for a service we do not use. Thus it is very important for us to have very good cell phone signal at home. Thankfully, we found one where we can cut our cell phone bill more than half and get also excellent signal.
