Dear, Can You Please Give Me A Call?

“Dear, can you please give me a call?”
Oh dear, believe me, this line is often heard in our household.  And what is the purpose of asking? To find one’s misplaced cell phone.
Now, I believe this is not only commonly heard in our household. Who among you would say that not once you have misplaced your cell phone? Oh I know some though who would not misplace their cell phones at all, those who cannot live without their cell phones, they even dine with their cell phones beside them, and text or surf while eating! I remember telling a friend before when we were dining, “I feel slighted, what is the purpose of being together when all you do is texting?” Gee, it is just so hard for me to understand, even I do teach and see some of my students so physical attached to their cell phones, still, I could not understand why other people can disregard others presence by valuing their cell phone texting, cell phone Facebooking, or cell phone surfing more!
Now, going back to lost cell phone, don’t ask me how many times I have used the line, “dear, can you please give me call?” Before, it was a dream in our household  when we would say, “gee, you can’t find your cell phone again? Where is the app for that?” Now, this dream is a reality!!  An app to find the cell phone! How cool! No more losing the phone and not knowing where it is or having someone steal your phone and losing all your contacts and stealing your information!

This is a new app for Sprint Total Equipment Protection App (TEP) subscribers that is available for Android, Blackberry and select feature phones. Aside from 1) locating your phone, this app also includes:

2) Sync contacts
3) Remote wipe phone
4) Lock phone
5) Sound alarm
Isn’t this app cool? Won’t this app make your life easier?  Sprint TEP customers can be up and running in just a few minutes at no additional cost! If you are a current Sprint customer, check out and download the app, you only have till August 30th to add the feature to your existing phone.
If you didn’t enroll in TEP within 30 days of activating your phone, Sprint is holding an Open Enrollment from August 1-30, 2011. This means as a Sprint customer, you can add the Total Equipment Protection feature. In addition to the new App features, TEP provides Sprint customers with a quick and convenient way to receive a replacement if your phone is ever lost, stolen, damaged or malfunctions after the warranty expires.  TEP cost $8.00 per month. The Protection App included with TEP with no added cost provides the ability to find a misplaced phone with an audible alarm, locate your phone on a map using network integrated GPS technology,
